What is the Reese’s® SLANT Celebration?
The Reese’s® SLANT Celebration is a family-friendly experience featuring a performance by 14-year-old Carly Rose Sonenclar, X-Factor finalist, singer, songwriter and actress; remarks by former Dallas Cowboy Daryl “Moose” Johnston and special guests. Common, GRAMMY Award-winning hip-hop artist, television and movie star, and Adrienne Bankert, CBS 11 anchor, will be the co-hosts.
The event is FREE, open to the public and will take place on Friday, April 4 at 6:45 p.m. at the AT&T Stadium in Arlington. Arrive early to enjoy the other Reese’s® Final Four Friday activities listed below!
What else is happening that day?
The Reese’s® SLANT Celebration is part of a larger Reese’s® Final Four Friday® event that includes different activities taking place in the AT&T Stadium, all free and open to the public:
12-4 p.m. - Open Final Four® team practices
4:30 p.m. - Reese’s® College All-Star Game
6:45 - 7:45 p.m. - Reese’s® SLANT Celebration
During the open practices you’ll see the student-athletes from the 2014 Men’s NCAA® Final Four teams participate in one of their final practices before the national semifinal games. Fans who attend will have the opportunity to hear from each head coach after their sessions and engage in on-court promotions. On top of that, the All-Star Game will showcase 20 of the best senior players in the NCAA Division I.
Do I need tickets to attend these activities?
No, all activities are free and open to the public. With seats for 80,000 people, there will be plenty of room to invite as many friends and family as you’d like.
What about parking?
Parking at the stadium will be FREE. We encourage you to park close to Entry C (East side of the stadium, adjacent to East Plaza) to be close to the Reese’s® SLANT Celebration seating.
What’s the stadium’s bag policy?
In an effort to enhance public safety, AT&T Stadium has modified its security policy by limiting the size and style of bags allowed in the stadium. No purses or backpacks will be allowed in the stadium. For more information visit attstadium.com.
Can I bring my camera?
Compact cameras (still only) are permitted inside the AT&T Stadium as long as their use does not interfere with the event or other guests’ enjoyment of the event.

BIG THOUGHT LAUNCHES SLANT PARTNERSHIP WITH NCAA
Big Thought's successful service learning initiative SLANT kicked-off a new year of programming on Sept. 4 at Charles Rice Learning Center in Dallas ISD.
SLANT - which stands for Service Learning Adventures in North Texas - is designed to inspire youth to take up the challenge of improving their neighborhoods and communities in unique and creative ways.
This time around, Big Thought is teaming up with the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) to provide youth the chance to do community service projects ahead of the 2014 NCAA Men's Final Four that will be held in North Texas in April 2014. The SLANT program will run from December 2013 - March 2014.
